Brief Overview
Professor Wuthrich is the Director of the newly established Macquarie University Lifespan Health & Wellbeing Research Centre. Her interests include understanding the psychological mechanisms underlying anxiety and depression (and related disorders), and the symptoms of, and treatment of depression and anxiety across the lifespan.
Primary Areas of Research
Developing strategies to treat and maintain good mental health through social participation, and treating social isolation and loneliness.
Collaboration of Interests
Developing strategies to enable people to engage in social activities, and ways to encourage participation through health care services
